Paul Stott

With a PhD in Engineering, Paul specialised in the modelling of wind turbines and the design of hybrid renewable energy systems. He now leads our team of engineers, delivering a wide variety of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects ranging from industrial sites and public sector buildings to small business premises.

Biography

Paul joined GEP Environmental in 2014, undertaking energy efficiency audits for the Energy Saving Trust and then the Carbon Trust. Paul has worked on a wide variety of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects ranging from industrial sites and public sector buildings to small business premises. Paul has provided renewable energy advice and feasibility studies for a range of different clients with particular emphasis on biomass and wind implementation feasibility.

  • MEng Avionics (2004) University of Glasgow

  • Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP)
  • Accredited Level 5 EPC Assessor
  • IES Virtual Environment (VE)
  • VE compliance Scotland Level 4s & 5s
  • DesignBuilder – Energy Plus and Computational Fluid Dynamic
  • Accredited Carbon Trust consultant (CRN: 849)
  • Accredited assessor for the Energy Saving Trust for energy efficiency, renewable energy and design advice
