Peter Schofield

Biography

Peter graduated from the University of Southampton with a Masters Degree in Environmental Science (MEnvSci) in 2012 and has since progressed within GEPEnv to become a Director and the Principal Environmental Consultant.

Peter has a strong track record of identifying strategic management requirements, developing and optimising process controls and successfully embedding environmental management into organisations from operational to board level. As a qualified environmental scientist, he has a thorough scientific background and integrates this knowledge into practical and effective environmental management. Through his extensive experience of auditing environmental, energy and quality management systems (EMS, EnMS, QMS) and legislative compliance auditing (CRC, Waste, Energy, Packaging) he is an IEMA Certified Lead Environmental Auditor and IRCA Certified Internal Quality Auditor.

Peter is responsible for assisting clients to establish, implement and maintain environmental, energy and quality management systems and has transitioned a number of clients to the new Standards of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015, as well as supporting clients to implement ISO 50001:2011. Peter has strategic and technical expertise in sustainable property management and provides management and operational guidance to International and UK portfolio management organisations.

Peter develops and delivers various IEMA Certified and bespoke training courses and workshops for GEPEnv including, carbon management, environmental awareness, managing the transition to ISO 14001:2015, environmental auditing to ISO 14001:2015 and technical and/or scientific training.
