This course is designed for anyone needing to understand energy and carbon management at an intermediate to advanced level including Energy Managers, Facilities Managers, Environment Managers and Environmental Representatives. If you are interested in assessing the carbon footprint of your organisation this workshop will provide you with an introduction to the techniques you will need, and some examples of projects delivered.

Peter Schofield MEnvSci, PIEMA, AMIEnvSc - Environment Manager, GEP Environmental Ltd Peter is a qualified environmental scientist with a thorough scientific background and integrates this knowledge into practical and effective environmental management. Peter has a strong track record of identifying strategic management requirements, developing and optimising process controls and successfully embedding environmental management into organisations. This experience has qualified Peter to become a Practitioner Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) and Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Science (IES). Through his extensive experience of environmental management systems (EMS) auditing and legislative compliance auditing (CRC, Waste, Energy, Packaging) he is an IEMA certified Lead Environmental Auditor. Peter is responsible for assisting clients to establish, implement and maintain environmental and quality management systems and is in the process of assisting a number of clients to transition their ISO 14001:2004 EMS and ISO 9001:2008 QMS to the new Standards of ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015.
