Planning consent and regulation adherence are essential for many renewable and large energy projects. GEP Environmental has experience in providing up to date advice on planning regulations and guidance in order to ensure that projects are compliant from inception to install. This includes full assessment of environmental impact of proposed developments using the latest software where required. We can also provide support for connection applications for gas (GT1) and electrical (G59).
Tendering processes for non-core business projects can put a large strain on already stretched resources. GEP Environmental can provide support or full management for competitive and quick quote tenders alike. We can produce prescriptive and performance specification based Invitations to Tender, provide a technical advisory role in assessing tender returns and submissions and provide post project completion measurement and verification of performance.
While grant funding available for energy projects has reduced since the initial introduction of government incentives, it is still available for third sector projects and also for certain innovative or demonstrator projects. There are also a number of attractive finance packages available for energy efficiency schemes with guaranteed savings.
GEP Environmental can help source and support your application for funding where applicable. We can also support applications for Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), Feed in Tariffs (FiTs) and savings based finance arrangements. We have a number of appropriately qualified assessors that can produce the required Independent Report on Metering Arrangements for RHI applications and we can also help you when applying for FiTs by determining metering and data collection requirements and assisting with the application to Ofgem.
“We have found them to be extremely responsive across all ranges of services for which we have engaged them.”
