ISO 50001:2011

ISO 50001 was published in 2011 and provides a framework of requirements for businesses to:

• Set and implement an energy policy for the efficient use of energy
• Set objectives, targets and energy management action plans
• Measure, document and report energy use and consumption
• Set design and procurement practices for equipment, systems, processes and personnel that contribute to energy performance
• Continually improve energy performance, including energy efficiency, energy use and consumption

We are working with a number of customers across a variety of sectors to manage and support the implementation and maintenance of their ISO 50001:2011 EnMS.

A number of organisations choose to integrate management systems such as Environment (EMS), Energy (EnMS), Quality (QMS) and Health & Safety (OHSAS) into an Integrated Management System. This allows for the simplification and alignment of management systems to ensure greater efficiency in operational management, avoids the duplication of processes and facilitates a more efficient and integrated approach to resource management.

As Energy Management System Consultants we are working with a number of customers to support the integration of new and existing management systems; including EMS, EnMS, QMS and OHSAS.
